Flown Flag from Apollo 12
This 4x6 nylon flag was flown to the moon aboard Apollo 12. Flown Apollo artifacts are rare, and are usually snips of parachute lines, hatch plugs, heat shield fragments, etc. Flags and patches are hard to come by. The flag is mounted on white suede, and includes an Apollo 12 patch (not flown) with the three autographs of the crew beneath. The flag was inscribed by Bean shortly after their return, "Flown to the moon, Apollo 12, Nov. 69, Alan Bean." At the bottom is a brass plaque.
