Michael Collins Earthrise Over Smyth's Sea

The first Apollo 11 Earthrise occurred as the crew passed over the eastern edge of the moon (flying east to west). A beautiful, gibbous Earth greeted them. Armstrong and Aldrin will begin descent in the LM shortly afterward.
