Elegant Archival Custom Framing

What is ARCHIVAL framing? Framing which is designed to last a lifetime with no permanent damage to the collectible. If you ask different framers, all will give you a different interpretation of archival or "museum" framing. We use acid-free mats and backing, and the photo is suspended with acid-free plastic photo corners, which are inert and make the photo easy to remove without damage.

Our framing would typically run $200 or more if sent to a custom frame shop. The second, circular window cut for the patches is something a lot of frame shops CAN'T EVEN DO. They have to send it out to have done, at a healthy markup to you. We also use elegant SUEDE mats on some of the pieces, with a reverse double bevel--tricky, but it creates a depth like a "shadow box" frame.

We frame with non-tarnishing, durable anodized aluminum frames. The finish on these frames is chemically bonded (anodized) to the metal, like chrome on a car hubcap or bumper. We also use the finest UV plexiglass, which blocks 98% of fading UV rays, is colorless, removes glare, is lightweight and resists scratching.

We are a professional art gallery with a total of 60 years experience between our staff of three framers. Our goal is to make your custom-framed collectible a beautiful and lasting addition to your home, office, or boardroom.
