Apollo 15 astronaut James Irwin (d. 1991) salutes the flag in what has become a marquee photo of the Apollo missions, shot by mission commander Dave Scott.

The litho is imprinted "His love from the moon" but the signature is original and hand-signed. Apollo 15 landed in the spectacular Hadley-Appenine area, the LM resting on a foothill slope.
