NOVASPACE LIVE AUCTIONJanuary 26th, 2008... Arizona Challenger Space CenterTHE ARIZONA CHALLENGER CENTERThe Arizona Challenger Space Center was the first free-standing Challenger Center. All others were part of museums or science centers. The Arizona Challenger Center is a large, three story building, chock full of classrooms, simulators, exhibits and electronic equipment. A central rotunda is home to a three-story Robert McCall mural tracing the history of scientific endeavor. The auction will take place in the rotunda, which has room for about 120 seats. Lots will be individually projected on a large video screen as they are auctioned. Art, framed, and other hangable lots will be hung on display panels around the perimeter of the rotunda. |
