It was suppoosed to be an edition of 1969, signed by Buzz Aldrin and artist Paul Hudson, but only a few hundred were ever printed and sold. This one is an artist's proof, owned by entrepreneur Peter Diamandis, the man behind the X-Prize, but a lousy marketer of art. This is a large, room-dominating piece, some of the finest work by space artist Paul Hudson, so much in demand he has an unlisted phone number! It shows a couple of Mars explorers setting up a weather station in a Martian canyon at dawn. Brrr! Size: 24 X 38 framedPrice: $795 SOLD Archivally Framed 1-800-727-NOVAINTERNATIONAL 520-888-2424

By melting the polar caps and seeding it with hardy plants, Mars could have a breathable atmosphere, making it a "new Earth". The "Boreal Ocean" will cover the low-lying Northern hemisphere, while the volcanic plateau of Tharsis will remain high above sea level. Here a winged shuttle leaves a way-station on Phobos for a Martian spaceport.
