Lunar Prospector

An historic painting, this was one of the few art covers for Aviation Week magazine, illustrating the Lunar Prospector, a NASA Discovery mission (less than $150M costs).

This mission, launched in 1998, discovered water ice at the Moon's polar regions.

Sold framed in a triple acid-free matted with a black suede outer mat suede outer mat. Etched 1.25" table plexiglass. UV Glare Non frame. aluminum pewter blue.
