Eagle Nebula Pillar (M-16)by Hubble Space Telescope 7000 light years away in the constellation Serpens, north of Scorpio. This is another of the Eagle's "pillars of creation" but with much finer detail, from the dusty base to the blast of ultraviolet light at the top.
