Mountains of CreationThis image is from the Spitzer Space Telescope's infrared instrument. This barely visible area is in the Northern constellation Cassiopeia comes to life in the infrared. The original "Pillars of Creation" in M16 would barely fill the tips of one of these "mountains." Infrared light can look through dusty areas and see infant star formation. Giclee printed on heavy acid-free fine art paper.
