Globular Star Cluster, Kim Poor, Space Art, limited edition

Globular Star Cluster

by by Kim Poor

This small black and white print is actually a duotone (two-color) print job to bring out the deep blacks of the original. Globular Clusters are ancient stellar "beehives" which roam in a halo around the galaxy. They may contain up to a million stars, and are a good target for binoculars. They consist of very old stars, formed at the same time as the core of the galaxy.
