Rusty Schweickart Rusty, the Apollo 9 astronaut, is Chairman of the B612 Foundation, which seeks to educate the public, and alter the orbit of an asteroid by 2015. Rusty has just returned from Vienna, Austria, where he has been testifying before the United Nations' Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS), regarding the threat to life in general of an asteroid striking Earth. His talk will elucidate the results of that meeting.
